Mālama ‘Āina is an ethic of caring for the land, that which sustains us. Since becoming environmentally aware in college, and entering my adult life as an organic farming apprentice and worker, I have made a point of being involved in regenerative agriculture and protection of wild lands. Now, in 2019, this focus feels more important than ever.
